Collaborative Research Center 599 (SFB99)
The Collaborative Research Center 599 entitled "Sustainable bioresorbable and permanent implants made of metallic and ceramic materials" was funded by the German Research Foundation for a total of 12 years in the period from 2003 to 2014.
The Collaborative Research Center 599 was an interdisciplinary joint institution of the Hannover Medical School, Leibniz Universität Hannover and the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. There was close cooperation with the Laser Zentrum Hannover, the Technical University of Braunschweig and the Hemholtz Center for Infection Research in Braunschweig.
