NAPKON Bioprobenkern successfully conducts 31 remote audits

An exciting year comes to an end. In 2021, the NAPKON Biospecimen Core conducted audits via video conference at a total of 31 of 32 NAPKON sites with biospecimen collection.
As part of these remote audits, the implementation of the standards defined in NAPKON regarding the collection, processing, storage and documentation of biosamples was reviewed. All sites had completed an online questionnaire in advance, which was discussed in an open and constructive audit meeting.
The 10 auditors trained as part of the NAPKON study got to know each site and its special features and talked to the audit participants who were conducting the study on site. There was also the opportunity to clarify any unanswered questions and develop possible solutions together. In conclusion, it can be said that all locations are very committed to implementing the NAPKON standards.
The quality of the NAPKON biosamples and their data was also significantly improved once again as a result of the audits. The NAPKON Biospecimen Core would like to take this opportunity to thank all audit participants for the lively exchange and the pleasant and open audit atmosphere!
