26.09.2024
With the poster entitled: "ProvideQ: Database for pre-analytical variability and biosample quality", Dr. Sara Haag (HUB) and her team received one of three poster prizes at the 12th National Biobank Symposium in Berlin.
The winning poster is based on a cooperation project between the Hannover Unified Biobank (HUB), the Translational Alliance in Lower Saxony (TRAIN) and Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSH), which was initiated and supervised by Dr. Sara Haag as part of a teaching assignment. The aim was to develop a knowledge database on pre-analytical variability and biosample quality. Under the joint supervision of Prof. Oliver J. Bott (HSH), Prof. Johanna Apfel-Starke (HSH and Hannover Medical School) and Dr. Sara Haag, twelve students from the 6th semester of the Bachelor's study programs Medical Information Management (BMI) and Information Management (BIM) at HSH worked on the project in SS2024.
