Pascal Eitler is a historian whose research focuses on the history of the body and emotions in the 19th and 20th centuries, the political and religious history of the Federal Republic of Germany, the contemporary history of the self and the history of human-animal relations. He is co-editor of the journal Body Politics - Zeitschrift für Körpergeschichte: www.bodypolitics.de
