Teaching and further education
Dear students,
dear lecturers,
The Institute of Neuroanatomy and Cell Biology offers a wide range of courses in the study programmes of Hannover Medical School. An essential part of our teaching philosophy is the continuous development of didactic concepts in order to offer training at the highest level. The interdisciplinary nature of medical and biomedical training is a central element of this. We also keep you up to date on current developments in our teaching portfolio via our newsfeed and our social media channels.
In addition to the curricular events of your studies or training, we offer you a portfolio of qualification opportunities:
- Science module: The new licensing regulations for medicine and dentistry strengthen the scientific focus of medical training. As part of this, the science module offers an initial opportunity to become scientifically active and contribute to gaining knowledge in the medical subjects. We regularly offer science modules that deal with various aspects of neuroscientific or anatomical research. You can find current offers in our newsfeed or on our social media channels.
- Digital microscopy: Digital microscopy is a supplement to our regular microscopic anatomy courses, which is intended to ensure preparation and follow-up as well as the sustainability of knowledge. An interactive digital microscopy platform is to be created at Hannover Medical School, which will enable our students to engage in decentralized and asynchronous learning processes. We are also aiming to implement clinical references through interdisciplinary links. Interested in working with us? Then get in touch with us!
- Bachelor's and Master's theses: We regularly offer Bachelor's and Master's theses in all areas of our neuroscientific research focus. If you are interested in our scientific focus areas, please feel free to contact us at any time.
- Doctoral theses: The doctorate is the first step in the qualification for independent scientific work. We offer you a structured doctorate on current scientific issues in prospective and retrospective formats. As part of your qualification, our aim is to advance scientific knowledge for the benefit of our patients. If you are interested, simply send us an unsolicited application. We will be happy to inform you about current projects and opportunities.
Our teaching content is made available to you on the ILIAS learning platform.
