Compulsory elective module II: Applied Data Analysis (BD WP 02)

Qualification objectives

Students complete an internship on their own initiative in one of the subject areas listed below. During the 6-week internship, an individually supervised small research project is usually carried out. Students will learn about basic relationships and their application in the chosen subject area.

Competencies

Students apply their theoretical and practical skills in the field of biomedical data science in the form of a research question. Participants deepen their methodological foundations and their self-organization, as well as their ability to work in a team. They expand their knowledge of independent scientific and experimental work and are able to compare different methods for solving a problem and select the appropriate one. Students are able to evaluate the results obtained and present them in a professional manner.
