Qualification goals

The module teaches basic machine learning techniques and their application in the life sciences. Students will familiarize themselves with machine learning techniques and learn the associated terminology as well as their application significance with regard to life science issues.

Competencies

After successfully completing the module, students will be able to identify suitable machine learning models for various problems. They will be able to implement these in practice and critically evaluate the results.
