Qualification objectives
The module teaches basic relationships and their application to the selected subject area. Students complete an internship on their own initiative in a bioscientific company or research institution in Germany or abroad. During the 6-week laboratory internship, an individually supervised small research project is usually carried out.

Competencies
Students apply their theoretical and practical skills in the field of biomedicine/biosciences in the form of a research question. Participants deepen their methodological foundations and their self-organization, as well as their ability to work in a team. They expand their knowledge of independent scientific and experimental work and are able to compare different methods for solving a problem and select the appropriate one. Students are able to evaluate the results obtained and present them in a professional manner.
