Radiation physics, dosimetry and radiation protection are of central importance to you in all three areas of work presented.

You will carry out radiation dose measurements independently and accurately using various measuring devices in order to protect patients and medical staff from radiation exposure.

You will also carry out constancy tests to ensure that the equipment used for diagnostics and therapy is working properly.

Your task is to know the optimal parameters for an X-ray examination and apply them accordingly.

As an MTR, you will therefore ensure that good image quality is achieved with the lowest possible radiation dose for the patient.
