Radiological diagnostics and other imaging procedures

As an MTR,you will use various imaging techniques to visualize the "inner life of a person" in order to detect possible illnesses or injuries.

You will use X-rays and other procedures such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and sonography (ultrasound) to obtain 2D or 3D images of bones, internal organs or blood vessels.

At the request of medical specialists, you will use the technology of the X-ray machine, computer tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to independently create X-ray images or cross-sectional images of patients.

As an MTR , you will often administer contrast agents to patients, especially during CT and MRI examinations, in order to better visualize vascular structures.

Many examinations in the Radiology Department can only be carried out in interdisciplinary teamwork between medical specialists, medical physicists and you.

That's why your teamwork and communication skills are in demand!
