The Clinical Department of Neurology at Hannover Medical School offers a wide range of services and covers the entire field of neurological diagnostics and therapy at university level. The Clinical Department has a particular clinical and scientific focus on translational neurodegeneration, movement disorders, neuroimmunological, neuromuscular and cerebrovascular diseases. A special feature of the Clinical Department of Neurology is the Department of Clinical Neuroimmunology and Neurochemistry with its own cerebrospinal fluid laboratory. Patients are cared for both in an inpatient setting and in our special outpatient clinics.
