Special outpatient clinic for neurovascular diseases
Management:
Prof. Dr. med. Karin Weissenborn
Dr. med. Ramona Schuppner
Information:
In our special consultation hours, we offer comprehensive advice and diagnostics for neurovascular diseases. These include stenoses or tears (dissections) of the cervical or cerebral arteries, thromboses of the cerebral veins and malformations of the cerebral vessels. As part of the consultation, there is the possibility of an examination using Doppler and duplex sonography of the extra- and/or intracranial vessels. In the case of interdisciplinary issues, the findings are discussed with the relevant disciplines (neuroradiology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery). As patients are treated in collaboration with neurologists in private practice, a referral from a neurology specialist is required for patients with statutory health insurance.
Appointments by appointment in our outpatient clinic
Consultation hours: Mondays and Wednesdays 2 to 4 p.m. or by appointment
