Private consultation
Privately insured and self-paying patients are welcome in our private consultation. The private outpatient clinic is managed by Prof. Dr. med. A. Haghikia (Director of the Clinical Department) and his senior physicians. In accordance with our specialties and expertise, we can offer the following consultation hours:
Parkinson's syndromes, other movement disorders.
PD Dr. Schwenkenbecher:
Neuroimmunological diseases, multiple sclerosis, immune neuropathies, myasthenia gravis, autoimmune encephalitides
Prof. Trebst:
Neuroimmunological diseases, in particular neuromyelitis optica spectrum diseases, myelitides and multiple sclerosis
Prof. Petri:
Motor neuron diseases (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), spinobulbar muscular atrophy (SBMA)) and other neuromuscular diseases, in particular inflammatory and hereditary muscle diseases
Prof. Dressler:
Movement disorders (e.g. dystonia, Parkinson's syndromes, spasticity, tremor, Huntington's chorea, psychogenic movement disorders), botulinum toxin therapy
PD Dr. Schrader:
Movement disorders, deep brain stimulation, pump procedures for movement disorders, botulinum toxin therapy
To make an appointment for a private consultation, please contact the Neurology office.
We ask you to bring a copy of all previous documents and any imaging that has already taken place on CD as well as a list of your current medication with you to the appointment in order to enable a comprehensive consultation.
We ask for your understanding that there are also waiting times for our outpatient private consultations due to high demand.
