Dr. Christin Linderkamp completed her medical studies at the Hannover Medical School and the Free University of Berlin. Her specialist training took place both at the Kaiserin Auguste Viktoria Haus (part of the FU Berlin) and at the Charite in Berlin. This is also where she began her specialist oncology training and where she completed her doctorate with an experimental, molecular-genetic thesis on an oncological topic. ("The polymerase chain reaction for the detection of residual leukemia in children with ALL").

1996 and 1997 birth of a son and a daughter.

From 1999, Dr. Linderkamp continued her training at the Hannover Medical School, obtaining the additional qualification in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology in 2006. Dr. Linderkamp has been a senior physician in Pediatric Oncology since 2005. Together with Dr. Andreas Beilken, she is in charge of the pediatric oncology ward. She also works in the hematology-oncology outpatient clinic and in the pediatric oncology consultation service. Dr. Linderkamp has been involved in a Europe-wide project to improve collaboration between pediatric nurses and medical staff in pediatric oncology together with the ward management since 2006. ("Collaboration between nurses and physicians in pediatric oncology: a multistep action research laboratory"). She is a member of the study committee of the Wilms Tumor Study and the studies on the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In 2008/09, she completed further training in pediatric palliative medicine and obtained the additional qualification in palliative medicine. Dr. Linderkamp has been working in the Department's bridging and palliative care team since 2009, with the aim of providing care for seriously ill children at home. Dr. Linderkamp has been head of the psychosocial team since 2015.
