A working group from the Clinical Department of Urology and Urological Oncology led by Prof. Dr. Stefan Ückert, in collaboration with the Institute of Biochemistry and Cellular Biology at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and the Department of Urology at Diepholz Hospital, presented a paper at the 27th. Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), Brisbane, Australia, for the poster presentation "A re-evaluation of the expression and distribution of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in the human vagina using the Tyramide Signal Amplification (TSA) technique" with the Congress Award in the category "Basic Science". The prize includes free registration for the next meeting of the specialist society, which will take place in Cape Town (South Africa) in 2027.
