Dr. Malte Juchem, Institute of Molecular and Translational Therapy Strategies, was honored in January with the “Young Investigator Award – runner-up” by the Heart Failure Association (HFA) of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) during the “Heart Failure Association (HFA) Winter Research Meeting” in Berlin. He received the award for his presentation titled “Nucleoside-modified GLA mRNA rescues Fabry cardiomyopathy phenotypes in human iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes.” The award comes with a prize of 400 euros.
