Alessa Thomas, PhD student in the Research and Teaching Unit Medical Psychology with PD Dr. Heike Saßmann, has won the Abstract Award 2025 of the German Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology and Diabetology (DGPAED), which is endowed with 500 euros. The title of her doctoral thesis is: "Predicting dysfunctional parenting in parents of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes".
