Thank you on International Carers' Day.

Hot dogs, doughnuts, popcorn - the nursing staff at MHH were spoilt today. This was no coincidence, as International Nurses' Day is celebrated annually on 12 May. The day commemorates the birthday of British nurse Florence Nightingale (1820 - 1910). She is regarded as a pioneer of modern nursing.
"Today we want to honour all professions under the umbrella of nursing. We are characterised by great diversity and professionalism, which benefits patients," explained Director of Nursing Karol Martens. He stood together with Nursing Director Claudia Bredthauer and other members of the nursing management team in the shopping arcade and offered the carers various treats. ‘We would like to say a thousand thanks to all carers for the work they do every day,’ said Martens. The stands with hot dogs, donuts and popcorn were well attended. The carers were not only able to enjoy the tasty treats, but also find out about various benefits offered by MHH, such as the company bike leasing scheme. The day of action was a great opportunity to spend the break in a different way and socialise with colleagues.
