Great success for Hannover Medical School (MHH): In the ranking of the American weekly "Newsweek", MHH is listed in 32nd place among the top 250 hospitals in the world and is in 5th place among German hospitals. "This excellent ranking is a great success and at the same time an incentive for us," says MHH President Professor Dr. Michael Manns. "Thanks are due to our dedicated employees who work as a team for the well-being of our patients."

"Newsweek" and the data portal Statista have evaluated more than 2,300 hospitals from 28 countries worldwide. The Mayo Clinic in the USA takes first place worldwide, while the Charité in Berlin is in first place in Germany. The annual ranking has existed since 2019 and shows the international reputation of a clinic as well as the networking of its medical professionals. It is based in particular on doctors' recommendations, patient satisfaction surveys and medical performance indicators on treatment quality. The difficult general conditions during the Corona pandemic were also taken into account. You can find the complete ranking here: www.newsweek.com/rankings/worlds-best-hospitals-2023.
