Rehabil-Aid

The aim of the EU-funded project "REducingthe HArmand the Burdenof Injuriesand human Losscaused by road traffic crashes and Addressing Injury Demandsthrough effective interventions" is to assess the psychosocial impact of people who have suffered serious injuries in a road traffic accident and to find out what influence this has on rehabilitation.

The aim is to identify areas that represent the greatest stress for the patient. The aim is to develop procedures to improve the progress of rehabilitation and reduce the long-term burden of injuries.

In this context, 39 severely injured patients at the MHH were recorded and their rehabilitation progress is being followed up to one year after the traffic accident.
