What Hannover Medical School offers

You can expect a monthly salary of:

1st year of apprenticeship: € 1,280.74
2nd year of apprenticeship: € 1,340.80
3rd year of apprenticeship: € 1,437.53 (as at 02.2025)

Working hours:
You will work 38.5 hours per week.

Start of work for lessons: 08:00
Start of work for the teaching kitchen (1-2 times a week): 07:00 in the early shift/ 11:30 in the late shift
As we are regularly involved in projects, you may also work afternoons/evenings or Saturdays
In the internship, working hours vary after consultation with the internship position.

In addition:

Receive free professional clothing and safety shoes for the teaching kitchen area, cleaning is included
No additional fees are charged for the teaching kitchen lessons
You can eat in our Canteen and the numerous cafeterias on the campus at low cost at the employee rate
You can rent a room in one of the student residences at Stadtfelddamm 66 (directly opposite) at a low rate
