Our general medical consultation hours are integrated into the psychiatric outpatient clinic of the MHH and are aimed at patients undergoing outpatient psychiatric treatment there.
In addition to burns, the consequences of burns, scars, body contouring and contractures, electrical accidents, chemical accidents and life-threatening skin diseases are treated at the MHH Burn Injury Center.
Urology currently uses the da Vinci to operate on the following organs: kidney (kidney removal for kidney cancer, partial kidney removal, removal of obstructions between the kidney and ureter, removal of renal cysts), prostate (removal of the prostate for prostate cancer, partial prostate removal)
Takotsubo syndrome is an acute heart disease, also known as "stress cardiomyopathy", "apical ballooning" or "broken heart syndrome", which heals within days to weeks in the majority of cases. Takotsubo syndrome is sometimes difficult to diagnose. All the necessary examination modalities are routinely carried out in our special consultation hour by specially trained cardio experts.
In the interdisciplinary transplant outpatient clinic, patients are examined and treated before and after organ transplantation by a team of specialists and assistant physicians from the fields of general, visceral and transplant surgery, gastroenterology and nephrology. This is done in close cooperation with the general practitioners.
