Clinical Department of Urology and Urological Oncology
Dear patients,
dear colleagues,
dear guests,
In accordance with our guiding principle "Making the impossible possible, doing the simple with dedication", we try to do justice to all your wishes and fears associated with a stay in hospital.
The optimal treatment of seriously and very seriously ill patients - especially in the field of oncology - is only possible within a large hospital such as the MHH, as many surgical procedures require close cooperation between us urologists and other surgical disciplines. Our primary goal is to allay your fears and provide you with the best possible medical care and human attention.
It is not just the colleague in the foreground who works for you, but a whole team of proven specialists in the background, without you perhaps always realizing it. The establishment of interdisciplinary tumor conferences has demonstrably led to an improvement in the quality of care, particularly in the oncological field. The Center for Urogenital Tumors at the MHH has therefore initiated a weekly tumor conference in which we urologists are joined by internal oncologists, radiologists and radiotherapists as well as representatives of various other specialist disciplines as required. The decisions of this committee are based on national and international treatment guidelines for urological diseases of all kinds.
On our homepage you will find that our team offers you the complete spectrum of what is possible today in the field of urology within all areas of the discipline and what makes sense for the optimal care of our patients according to the current state of medicine in terms of optimizing the quality of care.
