VTP therapy with TOOKAD, an established focal therapy option for localized prostate cancer that was used in our Clinical Department until recently, has unfortunately been completely discontinued due to a change in strategy by the manufacturer.

When, whether and which focal therapy options for localized prostate cancer can be offered in our Clinical Department in the future is currently not foreseeable. Various forms of therapy are being evaluated internally.

All patients who have received focal therapy for localized prostate cancer at our Clinical Department in the past are welcome to consult Dr. Pouriya Faraj Tabrizi on an outpatient basis if required.
