Briefing for the designer
The design of print products involves the following steps:
- Concept creation with title and 2-3 sample inner pages
- Creation of the layout according to a given manuscript and photo selection
- Image editing, creation of graphics
- Author's corrections
- Data preparation for printing
- Production support

The following documents must be made available to the graphic design office after commissioning:
- Manuscript
- Table of contents
- Text contributions with accompanying photos and illustrations (graphics) including captions
- Lists, index
- Imprint with photo credits (rights of use)
Handover to designer
- Word document and paper printout with page numbers
- Photos and illustrations on data carrier, as a paper print or as a slide
