Tender specifications

When placing print orders, please allow us the following information:

  • Smaller print runs can be produced more cost-effectively using digital printing than offset printing
  • The MHH's "Digital Media" department, telephone 3941, Digitale-Medienmh-hannover.de, has an in-house print shop (digital printing) where you can also obtain comprehensive and non-binding advice on production printing. If necessary, an offer with a schedule will be prepared for you.
  • Even if a product has to be produced off-site due to a large print run or for technical reasons, the MHH "Digital Media" department can take over the organization and processing completely or assist you with its expertise.

 

The following information must be available for the tendering of a printed matter:

Litho work

  • Number of scans including color correction and processing
  • Number of existing image data, color correction and processing
  • Proof or press proof

 

Print

  • Product (product description, e.g. "brochure")
  • Scope (number of pages cover, number of pages content)
  • Format
  • Print template (e.g. "InDesign document", "PDF")
  • Printing (offset printing or digital printing; information for offset printing: number of printing colors front and back, description of printing colors, e.g. Euroscale, special colors, matt printing varnish)
  • Paper (paper specification and grammage of cover and inside pages)
  • Processing
  • Print run
  • Dispatch date
  • Delivery date (date)
  • Other (e.g. "Print data on CD")
