With increasing age or in patients with specific chronic diseases, the ability to get used to new dentures can often decrease. We carry out treatment planning and treatment tailored to the individual patient situation. It may be advisable to restore the existing dentures instead of a comprehensive new prosthetic restoration. We also try to divide the treatment measures into individually suitable steps so that the stress caused by the individual treatment sessions is kept to a minimum. At the same time, emphasis is also placed on designing the dentures in such a way that they are easy to clean and can be easily adjusted in the future if necessary.
After extensive tumor operations, accidents or congenital malformations, implants can be used to anchor tooth replacements or so-called defect prostheses or obturators to simultaneously replace lost soft tissue. In the case of missing parts of the face (e.g. eye, nose, ear), an artificial replacement using an epithesis is also possible in order to restore the face.
