Alexandra Glizner has been employed at the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine since April 2022 and is currently working as a research associate in the Quincie project "Implementation of the quality indicators from the S3 guideline on palliative medicine for patients with a non-curable cancer in care practice on palliative care units".

From September 2014 to September 2018, Alexandra Glizner studied the dual physiotherapy study programmes (B.Sc.) at hochschule 21 in Buxtehude. During her studies, she worked as a physiotherapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Alexandra Glizner then studied Public Health in the Master's program (M.Sc.) at the MHH from October 2018 to February 2021. During this time, she worked from July 2019 to March 2020 as a student assistant in the Clinical Department of Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy at the MHH in the project "re:set - Counseling for excessive media consumption in Lower Saxony". After completing her studies, Alexandra Glizner worked from April 2021 to March 2022 as a project management assistant in the local Administrative Unit of the University Medicine Network at the MHH.

From April 2022, Alexandra Glizner supported the Research Department of the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine as a Scientific Officer. In October 2022, she then began a position as a research associate in the ABPATITE project - "Improving the care of patients with incurable diseases and their relatives: Analysis of the inventory and needs for palliative care day clinics and day hospices and recommendations for care planning".
