Judith Hoffmeyer has been working at the Institute of General Medicine and Palliative Medicine since May 2024 as a research associate in the StatAMed project (transformation of the patient pathway through a cross-sectoral short-stay general medicine-oriented care model).

From 2015 to 2019, she studied on the dual study programmes "Healthcare and Nursing" (B.Sc.) at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and dealt with the role of Nursing at the end of life as part of her Bachelor's thesis. From 2019 to 2024, she worked as a healthcare and nursing assistant in neurology at the Mühlenkreiskliniken. From 2021 to 2024, she studied Public Health (M. Sc.) at the Apollon University of Applied Sciences Bremen and became a mother during this time. In her master's thesis, she dealt with the contribution of integrated municipal strategies to the reduction of obesity in socially disadvantaged kindergarten children.
