Experimental Surgery | Anesthesiology

Animal experimental research at the MHH includes not only studies on laboratory rodents but also a variety of different surgical procedures on larger (e.g. rabbits) and larger (e.g. pigs, sheep) laboratory animals. These often preclinical and surgically very demanding studies place high demands on the quality of anesthesia, perioperative pain therapy and intensive care medicine.
