Pastoral care
Hospital chaplains meet, support and accompany people in hospital on request. They have time, they are willing and able to listen and endure the situation. A person shows themselves in their distress and is not left alone. The chaplains work with patients, relatives and employees to find a sense of security, resources and meaning. In doing so, people can discover solutions to their questions and problems themselves.
Pastoral counseling is subject to the protection of confidentiality.
Pastoral care at the MHH is a service of the churches and is offered by Protestant and Catholic chaplains to the people in the hospital. Pastoral care is not only aimed at members of their own denomination and religion, but is open to everyone in recognition of their own religious and ideological convictions.
