Under the direction of Univ.-Prof. Dr. P. M. Vogt, the Clinical Department's research section was completely rebuilt and redesigned. New premises were created for this purpose and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

The Clinical Department of Plastic, Aesthetic, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery is particularly keen to introduce students at Hannover Medical School to this exciting and extremely diverse surgical specialty. To this end, we offer lectures, block internships and PJ tertials as part of our teaching. In addition, the Clinical Department has a basic science research laboratory that deals with issues relating to regeneration and restoration.
