The Clinical Department of Psychiatry, Social- and Psychological Therapy is characterized by a broad spectrum of research. Our Department has a particular scientific focus on molecular neuroscience, epigenetics, translational and personalized psychiatry, psychotherapy research and health services research, e.g. on sexual medicine, Tourette syndrome, addiction disorders and drug safety. Thanks to our own 3T-MR device and two laboratories, our research groups are ideally equipped!

Detailed information about our scientific topics, our equipment and our research groups can be found here.

You are also welcome to submit an unsolicited application!

Regardless of the current doctorate offers, we are always looking for motivated students (Human medicine, psychology, natural sciences) for doctoral, bachelor, master or diploma theses, both for the clinical area and for our laboratories. Pupils have the opportunity to complete an internship or voluntary social year (FSJ) with us.

In general, the preparation of a scientific thesis or an internship/FSJ is possible in all research areas/groups. For the clinical area, the minimum age is 18 years.
