Interdisciplinary tumor conference

The best possible care for patients with skin tumor diseases requires interdisciplinarity. To this end, an interdisciplinary tumor conference is held once a week. Various treatment concepts involving the different specialist disciplines (e.g. surgery, radiotherapy, drug therapy) are coordinated in direct exchange with colleagues from other specialist departments. The discussion results in a holistic recommendation.

Representatives of the following specialist disciplines regularly take part in the interdisciplinary tumor conference:

  • Dermatology
  • Internal medicine, haematology/oncology, palliative medicine
  • radiology
  • Radiotherapy
  • Surgery (maxillofacial surgery, ENT surgery, PHW surgery, general surgery)
  • Representatives of other specialist disciplines are consulted on a facultative basis in the case of extended questions.
