Anesthesia in Diagnostics, Intervention and Emergency Care (DINO)

Outside the central OR, we provide over 5,000 anesthesia services per year in the areas of diagnostics, intervention and emergency care (DINO).

In the Central Emergency Room, we treat severely injured and critically ill patients and accompany them from admission through the diagnostic areas to the operating theater or intensive care unit.

In the area of radiological and neuroradiological diagnostics/intervention and in the areas of radiotherapy and nuclear medicine, we look after critically ill patients on the one hand and, on the other, often small and very small children who cannot tolerate the diagnostic measures without anesthesiological support. We also care for patients in the fields of internal medicine, e.g. in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and endoscopy. We also care for patients undergoing outpatient surgery in the fields of ENT, ophthalmology, trauma surgery, plastic, hand and reconstructive surgery, gynecology and urology.
