The diving fitness test is the "entry ticket" for every diver to the enchanting underwater world, which provides incomparable experiences far away from everyday life. With our examination according to the guidelines of the Society for Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine (GTÜM e.V.), we ensure that you can practice your favorite sport with a good feeling of safety.

We (ourselves enthusiastic divers) look forward to seeing you and guarantee you a medical fitness examination carried out according to the current state of knowledge of diving medicine.

What can you expect during the diving fitness examination?
You will first receive a health questionnaire and will then be questioned in a personal interview. To shorten your waiting time, you can print out and complete this questionnaire here and now.

This is followed by a thorough physical examination (including a check of the ears, especially the eardrums) with determination of the lung function parameters and an ECG.

A bicycle ergometry (stress test) is indicated for certain illnesses and for divers over 40 years of age.

An X-ray of the chest is no longer necessary today, but is required for certain pre-existing conditions, particularly of the lungs. If you have a lung x-ray (not older than 5 years), please bring this with you to your examination appointment.

After the examination, you will be informed of your results immediately in a detailed final discussion and in an automatically generated report. If you are fit to dive, you will receive an internationally recognized certificate of fitness according to GTÜM e.V..

The examination usually takes about 45 minutes.
