In the year-spanning Pain Medicine curriculum, students learn how to correctly diagnose and treat pain throughout their studies. An amendment to the licensing regulations in 2012 introduced the cross-sectional area 14 "Pain Medicine".
The introduction of the new cross-sectional area "Pain Medicine" also requires the introduction of an examination. The LoMoS Ars revision module was implemented in the study programmes to prepare for this examination. In it, the pain medicine content from the five years of study is summarized in 10 lecture hours and 4 seminar hours and deepened in a competence-oriented manner. The content of these revision hours is based on the model curriculum for pain medicine teaching at the medical faculties in Germany and the National Competence-Oriented Catalogue of Learning Objectives (NKLM).
The teaching content is also made available on an online platform.
Dear students,
