Participating prevention and rehabilitation clinics
Members of the research association are Facilities or Institutions that carry out inpatient preventive or rehabilitative treatments for mothers, fathers and children in accordance with §§24 and 41 SGB V or preventive treatments for nursing relatives in accordance with §23. Facilities are run by charitable organizations (Müttergenesungswerk [Mothers' Convalescence Fund]) as well as independent private providers.
Cooperation between the research team and the clinics takes the form of expert meetings, visits to the facilities and telephone consultations. The expert meetings take place three times a year in Hanover and last two to three days each time. They are supplemented every six weeks by telephone or video conferences on current topics. During the expert meetings, conceptual and therapeutic content as well as quality assurance procedures and research topics are developed and communicated. Research findings are also discussed here and prepared for practical implementation in the clinics.
Cooperation between the research team and the sponsors takes place at sponsor conferences, which are scheduled to take place twice a year in Hanover. Research and quality assurance projects are discussed and agreed here and the research team reports on the progress of ongoing projects.
