Since August 1, 2013, children are legally entitled to attend a daycare facility from the age of one until they start school.
If you are unable to find a childcare place for your child, you can assert this legal entitlement at the Family Service Office.

A subsidy towards childcare costs is possible under certain conditions.
For this purpose, an informal application must first be submitted to the Department of Economic Youth Welfare for an examination of the reasonableness of the parental contribution. The applicant will then be informed which documents are required for the assessment and must be submitted.
