Biology laboratory assistants work primarily in research and development laboratories. Training at the MHH takes place in the Central Animal Laboratory and focuses on the following areas: genetic diagnostics, health diagnostics, reproductive biology, experimental surgery and the care of laboratory animals in the Central Animal Laboratory.
The training lasts three and a half years and takes place both at the MHH and at the vocational school.
School requirements:
Good secondary school leaving certificate or Abitur as well as the completed vocational school year (BFJ) at the vocational school. The BFJ can be credited towards the training period.
