Training as an event management assistant is a legally young apprenticeship. It was first approved by the IHK in 2001. This training has been offered at the Medical University since 2011. With a focus on congresses and conferences, trainees learn about a broad spectrum of event planning.
Event managers have a planning and organizing role. One of the main tasks of the event management assistant is to maintain an overview of the entire event. The Hannover Medical School's event management team takes care of all events at the MHH. Numerous events take place at the MHH every day. These range from important meetings in conference rooms, workshops and colloquia to large symposia and congresses.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly, the event management staff are there to organize and implement them.
