The warehouse specialist deals with all processes and workflows in a warehouse, from receiving and storing goods to picking and preparing goods for dispatch. They also learn about commercial business processes, including booking, canceling and returns processing, as well as activities in the areas of occupational safety, quality assurance and environmental protection. The apprenticeship lasts two years.

The warehouse logistics specialist deals with the same tasks as the warehouse specialist. In addition, the training includes more planning and organizational aspects and special fields such as customs clearance and international freight forwarding. The apprenticeship lasts three years.

School requirements:

At least a very good secondary school leaving certificate or secondary school leaving certificate
