Clinical Anatomy

The Institute of Functional and Applied Anatomy provides the infrastructure, logistics and expertise for training programs that rely on body donors. This makes it possible to standardize new surgical techniques as well as to practice and deepen already established surgical procedures within medical training and further education. "Surgical courses" can be held in the dissecting rooms in an application-oriented manner.

Please contact us if you would like detailed information or would like to run courses together with us.

The range of services is primarily intended for the further training of physicians from various disciplines.

We offer:

  • Well-equipped rooms in the Institute of Functional and Applied Anatomy
  • Prepared permanent anatomical specimens for demonstration purposes
  • Native and preserved human specimens
  • Demonstrations of anatomical preparations
