ZAS - Platform for Cooperation

Head: Prof. Dr. med. Dirk O. Stichtenoth

Medicinal products are an indispensable part of practically all treatment procedures when the risk-benefit analysis is carried out carefully. The prevention of drug-related risks is an interdisciplinary task that requires responsible, evidence-based handling of drugs at all levels of the healthcare system. The Center for Drug Safety (ZAS) networks the drug therapy expertise at the MHH and thus enables structured, cross-professional cooperation and communications. The regular and direct exchange of information between the experts contributes to an independent, quality-assured increase in drug safety in routine therapy and in clinical trials.
