The annual Joint Symposium and Retreat of the Clinician and Medical Scientists of MHH will take place on April 9-10, 2026. This event is jointly organized by the Dean's Offices for Research and the Dean's Office for Academic Career Development.

The joint HiLF Symposium and Clinician and Medical Scientist Retreat offers the perfect opportunity to network at the poster and gain insights from other research areas during exciting talks. Here, we bring together colleagues from basic research, translational projects, and clinical studies.

The focus of the exchange this year will be on Medical Science in Transformation. Scientists face new challenges every day that are changing significantly. We will address the following topics in workshops, a panel discussion, and through personal statements from our fellows:

• Data analysis and artificial intelligence
• Good scientific practice and publication performance
• Working conditions and career paths

All MHH academic staff and doctoral students are cordially invited to participate in this event.

This year's highlight talk will focus on data analysis and artificial intelligence.
