EndNote at MHH
In addition to Refworks, the MHH also offers the literature management programme EndNote from Clarivate. Unlike RefWorks, there is no campus licence, but you can order the software free of charge from the MIT and have it installed on your MHH computer. This is a single licence, which is only installed on the computer you specify.
Some important points to note:
- You can also access your references online and from anywhere via EndNote Web. To do this, you must activate synchronisation between the desktop and web application. This also requires the creation of a Clarivate account.
- You must log in to EndNote Web from the MHH network at least once a year to renew your licence.
- The add-in for Word is also installed automatically by MIT.
- If you get a new computer, you will have to apply for a new installation.
- Never save your Endnote library file in a cloud storage (OneDrive or similar). This can lead to your EndNote Library becoming corrupted and no longer readable.
- Currently, MIT only offers version EndNote 21. Newer versions (EndNote 2025) are currently not available from the MHH.
