Entry requirements

The requirements for admission to the Master's degree program in Biochemistry can be found in the current admission regulations. In principle, the degree program is suitable for applications from bioscience and/or chemistry study programmes.

In the admission procedures for the summer and winter semesters, an information day and the knowledge test provided for in the admission regulations take place at the MHH at the end of January and end of July respectively as part of the admission procedure. All students who have submitted an application and have a prospect of a place according to the decisions of the Admissions Committee will be invited separately.

Important for applicants from study programmes other than biochemistry:
For a successful application, solid knowledge of physical chemistry and in-depth knowledge of biochemistry/molecular biology are recommended. It is advisable to submit the topic of the Bachelor's thesis, e.g. by registering it with the examination office.
