Imaging of biological systems (BD P 02)
Qualification goals
Students learn about various problems and application scenarios of biomedical imaging in medicine. They learn analytical-conceptual methods and are able to apply these on the basis of the acquired measurement principles of imaging procedures.
Competencies
Students are familiar with the current procedures and areas of application of preclinical imaging. They understand the necessary image acquisition technology and its technical and physical principles as well as the creation or construction of the images. Furthermore, students understand the application of the various imaging systems from a medical point of view. Students know the special features of various imaging procedures and can select and apply a suitable procedure based on the methodological skills they have acquired.
