Application and admission procedure

The course begins each year in the winter semester.

The application period starts on June 1 and ends on July 15 of each year.

The admission procedure takes place via an online application portal. The portal can be accessed via the link https://campus.mh-hannover.de.

Please note:

There will be no preliminary examination of your documents. Please clarify with the university where you completed your Bachelor's degree whether your Bachelor's degree meets the requirements for admission to this Master's program.

The move-up procedure is expected to take place from 11.08.2025.

 

Entry requirements

The requirements for admission to the Master's degree program in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy can be found in the current admission regulations.

The APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS include

  • German university entrance qualification (if applicable, proof of German language proficiency, e.g. with DSH-3)
  • Bachelor's degree certificate or previous proof of achievement
  • Certificate of professional recognition B.Sc. Psychology issued by your university (if you have chosen option B: Bachelor's study programmes without professional recognition, please contact the state examination office and submit your application with the confirmation you have received from them) .
  • If applicable, proof of voluntary additional internships during your studies and other (Note: There is no template for the proof).

Please note:

All documents submitted online must be submitted in the original if admission is granted.

 

Information event for applicants

For all prospective students, there will be an online information event on May 15, 2025 at 5 pm , where you will be informed about the general structure and content of the study programs as well as the application procedure. You can find the MS Teams link here.
