General information on elective course I

An elective course I must be completed before the first section of the medical examination ("certificate of equivalence"). The elective course is graded. An elective course I must be taken by all students. The timing can be freely chosen within the first two years of study. It is recommended to take it in the second year of study.

Registration is only possible via your Fact Webservice. Registration is a prerequisite for participation in an elective course!
Elective course I can be attended from the 1st year of study, but is generally recommended from the 2nd year of study. Please note the participation requirements in the curriculum, most elective courses are offered from the 2nd year of study.
The dates are only announced and released for registration for the specified academic year.
The elective course must be completed by the end of the academic year.
Participation is mandatory after registration according to the study regulations, § 15, paragraph 1, so please inform yourself in advance about the dates offered, which must be in line with your timetable, and the requirements for participation. Courses of the regular modules that require attendance have priority. Parallel attendance is not possible.
You can cancel your registration at any time during the registration period . Once this period has expired, registration is binding and attendance is mandatory.
If known, only the first date of the elective course will be shown in your timetable in FACT. If not known, a dummy date is set (e.g. 08.10.2018 08.00-08.05h). The dates in the curriculum are binding!
Room details can only be found in the curriculum or can be requested from the teaching staff.
You can only register if you have not yet completed an elective course I.
Registrations are only valid for the current academic year.
Students who have already completed an elective course and would like to take another elective course should contact the Office of Academic Affairs directly at wahlfach(at)mh-hannover.de.
